Thank you all!

To the communities we served (Webster and Ontario) thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to serve you for the past 76 years.

Thank you to our active, social, life, and auxiliary members past and present for their love of our communities, pride in their service, the many sacrifices they have made, the countless hours of time devoted, and most of all for the friendships and memories that will live on forever.

We are filled with Union Hill Panther Pride as we end an era of service.  It has been an honor and a privilege to serve our community. The rich history and traditions will be remembered. Union Hill Fire Department has always been and always will be a family.

Union Hill Responds to Hazardous Condition on Dean Pkwy.

At approximately 8:12pm on Wednesday November 6th Union Hill Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 6300 block of Dean Parkway for the reported automatic fire alarm. Engine 133 arrived with nothing showing from a 1-1/2 story commercial facility. Engine 133’s crew made entry and located a heavy chemical odor and smoke inside the north part of the building. UHFD command upgraded the alarm and requested Ontario Fire Company mutual aid to the scene. Upon a thorough search of the facility crews were able to isolate the cause of the issue to a faulty manufacturing process.

Due to the nature of the chemicals released from this malfunction crews spent a lengthy period of time ventilating the facility and ensuring that workers could safely re-enter the building.

Union Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps Ambulance 1319 provided a stand by on-scene and Lincoln Fire Rescue provided a fill-in for Union Hill during the incident.

Thank you to our volunteers and our neighboring companies for their swift and professional response this evening!
