Today at approximately 10 AM Union Hill was requested to fill in at Ontario station 1 while they were occupied at a large fire in Williamson. A crew of firefighters along with engine 133 stood by at Ontario's station for approx 4 hours.
During this period our sister agency Union Hill Ambulance up staffed a second ambulance to assure coverage in our district, but also to assist if needed by Ontario Volunteer Ambulance should they be required to also respond to the fire.
This was just another example of how your Wayne County public safety partners work together to accomplish a common goal.
